Terms of Service

These Terms govern the provision of barbershop website, booking, and retail pickup software and related services offered under the KERSIVO name. They are intended for business customers (barbershops) in the UK.

Parties

The Service provider is Bartosz Jasinski, trading as KERSIVO, based in Bournemouth, England, United Kingdom. References in these Terms to “KERSIVO”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Bartosz Jasinski trading as KERSIVO, unless the context refers specifically to the KERSIVO software or brand. For enquiries, contact hello@kersivo.co.uk.

Client means the barbershop or business that uses KERSIVO. By ticking the Terms acceptance box when activating KERSIVO Starter, purchasing Full KERSIVO, or choosing KERSIVO Starter after Full, you agree to these Terms on behalf of the Client. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind that business. Continued use of the service after access is granted remains subject to the applicable Terms.

What we provide

KERSIVO is offered in two service levels for UK barbershops:

KERSIVO Starter — £0/month. Starter provides the core booking operation on a KERSIVO-hosted booking page, including bookings, team, services, availability, manual bookings, recent booking history, Clients Core and automated email reminders, subject to the Starter limits in these Terms.
Full KERSIVO — £39/month per physical location. Full adds the branded website / own-domain experience and the wider business toolkit, including the Full-only features described below.

Feature lists and fees on our pricing page form part of these Terms by reference. KERSIVO takes 0% KERSIVO commission / platform / application fee on new booking payments in both Starter and Full. Standard Stripe payment-processing fees still apply under the barbershop’s agreement with Stripe. KERSIVO Starter requires a payment-ready Stripe Connect Standard account before new customer-created public bookings can go live.

Full KERSIVO website and domain

Each location receives a professional website on the KERSIVO platform. The standard package may include a home page, salon information, team, gallery, contact details, social links, booking flow and retail pickup shop. Services are presented in the booking flow; a separate services page is not a mandatory part of the standard package.

Your site is tailored to your shop’s name, visual identity, logo, photos, team, content and contact details. This is not a full, unlimited bespoke web-development service.

Your barbershop website includes a subtle “Powered by KERSIVO” mark that links to KERSIVO. It cannot be removed on the standard £39 plan. KERSIVO does not place other ads, banners or aggressive promotional elements on your site. This mark applies to your shop site only — not to the KERSIVO marketing website.

Full KERSIVO website update support

Website update support covers reasonable minor changes to the standard KERSIVO website, such as updating supplied text, opening hours, contact details, team information, prices and replacing images supplied by the Client. It does not include new software features, a full redesign, unlimited revisions, bespoke pages, custom integrations or an open-ended allocation of development hours. Larger changes may require a separate written quotation.

Admin access

When you sign in to the barbershop admin panel, we use necessary first-party session cookies so you can stay signed in for your convenience and security (typically for up to 30 days). Details are set out in our Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy.

Fees and payment

KERSIVO Starter is £0/month. It does not create a KERSIVO SaaS subscription charge. Full KERSIVO is £39/month per physical barbershop location. KERSIVO does not charge a separate installation or setup fee. For Full KERSIVO, The first payment is taken immediately when you subscribe. Renewals are charged monthly on the same billing-cycle day. There is no annual, quarterly or prepaid plan. Subscription billing runs via Stripe unless we agree otherwise in writing.

You pay exactly the price shown. KERSIVO is not currently VAT registered, so no VAT is added.

For Full KERSIVO: The standard plan covers one physical barbershop location. There is no automatic discount for multiple locations; larger networks may request an individual offer.

The £39/month plan includes standard configuration: salon account creation, platform setup, a standard website tailored to your shop’s brand, migration help, one standard domain, hosting, SSL and platform updates.

Through the admin dashboard you can configure barbers, services, prices, working hours, retail products and basic shop details (name, town/city and logo).

KERSIVO may change the plan price in future. Price changes are not retroactive. You will receive at least 30 days’ notice before a new price applies, and you may cancel before it takes effect. Keeping an earlier price for selected customers may be offered individually; it is not a public guarantee.

Full KERSIVO subscription refunds

Except where required by law, the first subscription payment is not automatically refundable because onboarding and configuration work may begin immediately after purchase. If KERSIVO is wholly unable to begin or provide the service for reasons solely within KERSIVO’s control, KERSIVO will refund the first subscription payment. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

KERSIVO Starter

KERSIVO Starter is a genuine £0/month service level for one physical barbershop location. It is not a time-limited trial and KERSIVO adds 0% commission / platform / application fee to new booking payments. A payment-ready Stripe Connect Standard account is required before new customer-created public Starter bookings can go live.

Starter includes, subject to reasonable fair use:

a KERSIVO-hosted booking page;
bookings, team, services and availability;
up to 4 active bookable barbers at the location;
manual bookings, which may be recorded as Pay at shop;
a fixed public-booking payment model: for services priced above £5, the customer chooses a £5 deposit or Pay in full; a service priced exactly at £5 is paid in full;
no customer-created public Pay at shop mode on Starter, and no editable public booking-payment settings; those controls are Full KERSIVO features;
active public-bookable Starter services must be priced at £5 or more; KERSIVO does not silently reprice a service that falls below that threshold;
a rolling 90-day view of past booking history plus current and future bookings;
Clients Core, rather than the Full advanced CRM layer;
automated email reminders;
a visible but OFFLINE KERSIVO Assistant with no live AI processing;
guided Google Business Profile booking-link setup; and
eligibility to request one initial physical QR Kit for an eligible verified UK location under the QR Kit terms below.

Starter does not include the Full branded website / own-domain service, more than 4 active bookable barbers, editable public booking-payment controls (including public Pay at shop), full historical booking archive, Advanced Clients, Reports, Retail / Products / Orders / Sales, SMS reminders or the live KERSIVO Assistant.

Full KERSIVO monthly subscription

Full KERSIVO is £39/month per physical location, unless we agree a different rate in writing (for example for larger networks). There is no minimum term and no notice period to cancel. Subscriptions cannot be paused. You may cancel at any time; service stays active until the end of the paid month.

You configure day-to-day shop details yourself in the admin dashboard (barbers, services, prices, working hours, retail products and basic shop details such as name, town/city and logo).

Automated SMS appointment reminders are included while your subscription is active and are subject to a monthly allowance. We do not publish a fixed monetary amount or message count in these Terms.

Limits and fair use

Within one physical barbershop location, the standard plan covers unlimited bookings, clients, barbers, dashboard users, services, products and retail orders. Reasonable fair use applies.

For Full KERSIVO, within one location and subject to fair use, the Full plan covers unlimited:

Reasonable fair use applies. Fair use does not allow:

using one subscription for more than one physical location
sharing an account with independent businesses
reselling access to the platform
using the system for spam
bots and mass automation
storing unrelated data
conduct that threatens the platform
attempts to circumvent limits
illegal or fraudulent activity

For an ordinary fair-use breach, KERSIVO will contact you, explain the issue, give you a chance to correct it, and may offer an additional location subscription or an individual plan.

KERSIVO may restrict access immediately in cases of fraud, spam, a security threat, illegal use, or serious risk to the platform or other customers.

Changing or ending KERSIVO service

Ending a Full subscription does not automatically mean leaving KERSIVO. When Full KERSIVO is scheduled to end, the Owner may explicitly choose to continue on KERSIVO Starter. Full remains active until the end of the already-paid period; after that, Full-only website/domain and premium modules cease and the shop continues at the Starter entitlement only where the applicable current Terms for that Starter continuation have been accepted. If more than 4 barbers are actively bookable, the Owner must reduce the active booking team to a maximum of 4; KERSIVO does not choose or delete barbers for you. If Stripe Standard is not payment-ready, or an active public-bookable service is below £5, the Starter account and dashboard may remain available but new public booking intake is paused until the relevant launch requirement is fixed. Existing accepted bookings are not rewritten merely because Full ends.

If the Owner chooses Leave KERSIVO, or Full ends without an explicit Starter choice, the shop enters KERSIVO’s departure / wind-down lifecycle. New public bookings stop. Existing future accepted appointments are not silently deleted; where they remain, limited operational access may continue so they can be handled safely before the shop enters post-service retention.

A pure Starter shop may also use the Owner-only Leave KERSIVO flow. Complete departure from KERSIVO — not merely the end of Full — is the event that starts the standard post-service export / retention lifecycle.

Failed or overdue payments

Stripe may retry a failed subscription payment in accordance with its billing process. After a failed renewal, the subscription may be marked past due. For 7 days after the failed payment, paid features may remain available. After that grace period, KERSIVO may restrict or suspend access to the website, booking system and retail system. The admin dashboard may remain available for billing management and data export. If payment remains outstanding, KERSIVO may terminate the subscription. Restoring the service may require payment of all outstanding charges.

Full KERSIVO domain name

Each location includes one standard domain. Your own domain included.

If you do not already have a domain, KERSIVO may register one on behalf of your business. Legal ownership of the domain remains with the salon or its legal owner. While your subscription is active, KERSIVO manages the registrar, DNS and SSL technically. When the engagement ends, the domain can be transferred to you.

Where KERSIVO registers a domain for you, you must confirm authorisation (collected in the post-purchase KERSIVO client onboarding), including agreement to:

I authorise KERSIVO to register and manage the selected domain name on behalf of my business using the details provided.

If you already have a domain, you keep ownership. Transferring the domain to KERSIVO is not required. KERSIVO may configure DNS and SSL; you remain responsible for renewing the domain. We can provide the required DNS records or help with configuration. KERSIVO will not ask you to send domain-registrar passwords by ordinary email.

The internal standard domain allowance is £30 per year, including mandatory registrar fees. Premium domains, aftermarket listings, auctions, expensive extensions and names above that allowance are not included in the standard package. In those cases KERSIVO will propose an alternative domain or agree a top-up for the difference with you.

The KERSIVO platform software is not transferred with the domain when the engagement ends.

Free website preview

At your request, we may design a free, private preview of a website and booking page for your barbershop. The preview is free of charge and without obligation. It is for your review only, is not published or indexed by search engines, and remains available for 30 days. Bookings made on a preview are for testing only: no appointments are created and no payments are taken. By requesting a preview, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the barbershop and that we may use the details, text and images from the links and files you send us solely to create your preview. If you do not subscribe, we delete the preview and the information you provided for it within 90 days of the preview expiring.

Onboarding, preparation and launch

After purchase you complete KERSIVO client onboarding. Your salon should provide details such as business name, address, contact details, logo, photos, team information, opening hours, social media, a salon description and any information needed for migration.

Your subscription starts on the day of purchase. Not sending materials does not pause or stop the billing cycle.

Standard delivery is communicated as: typically a few days after we receive all required information. Timing can depend on completeness of information, your availability, migration, domain access, the quality of exported data and the number of setups in progress. We do not guarantee a specific go-live date if you have not provided all required information.

Before publication you receive a private preview of your site. You should check content, contact details, photos, booking flow, services, prices, team and opening hours. Go-live happens only after your explicit approval (for example Approve and launch). KERSIVO keeps a record of who approved, when they approved, the site version and the go-live date. Where technically possible, your existing website can stay live while we build. DNS is switched only after approval.

Missing materials

If you do not supply every optional asset, we may use a neutral avatar where a barber photo is missing, hide the gallery section where there are no gallery images, use a typographic salon name where there is no logo, and prepare basic website copy from the information you have provided.

If key details are missing — such as your address or proper contact details — launch may be held until they are provided.

KERSIVO does not use stock photos in a way that suggests they depict your real salon, staff or clients.

Stripe, booking payments and retail

Live booking card payments use the barbershop’s connected Stripe account under a direct-charge model and the barbershop remains the merchant / seller of record for its services. New public Stripe connections are onboarded using Stripe Standard. KERSIVO Starter requires a payment-ready Stripe Connect Standard account before new public bookings can be live. A historical Express connection may remain supported for Full KERSIVO and for historical payment / refund continuity where already established, but a legacy Express account does not satisfy the Starter public-launch requirement. KERSIVO does not store full card numbers or CVC and adds 0% application / platform fee to new Starter and Full booking payments. Standard Stripe processing fees are charged separately by Stripe under the barbershop’s Stripe terms.

On Starter, customer-created public bookings always require an online payment: for a service above £5 the customer may choose a £5 deposit or Pay in full, while a £5 service is paid in full. Public Pay at shop is not available on Starter. Full KERSIVO may offer owner-controlled Pay at shop, £5-deposit or full-payment modes. Staff-created manual Starter bookings may still be recorded as Pay at shop.

KERSIVO may separately receive compensation or revenue share from Stripe under Stripe’s own partner arrangements if KERSIVO qualifies. Any such Stripe-paid compensation is not a commission or fee deducted by KERSIVO from the barbershop’s booking payment, and KERSIVO does not promise a particular revenue-share rate.

Retail / Products / Orders / Sales are Full KERSIVO features. The public /shop retail demo is a simulation only: no payment is taken, no Stripe Checkout session is created, and no order is stored. Private owner shop tests in the admin may create marked test orders without payment. You remain responsible for accurate pricing, product descriptions, taxes, returns and pickup-only fulfilment unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Data ownership, export, and leaving

You own your domain, brand, content, client relationship and exported business data. KERSIVO does not sell your client data.

You may request a free CSV export containing first name, surname where stored, email, phone number and booking history. Export is available while the KERSIVO service for that shop is active and for 30 days after the shop leaves KERSIVO completely. Moving from Full KERSIVO to KERSIVO Starter does not start this retention window because the KERSIVO service continues. After the applicable post-departure period, shop data may be deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Leaving KERSIVO completely shuts down new public booking intake for the location. Existing future accepted appointments are preserved for safe wind-down rather than silently deleted. Existing dynamic KERSIVO QR codes are not reassigned to another business and stop leading to an active new-booking flow while the shop is leaving. If you previously added the KERSIVO booking URL to Google Business Profile, you are responsible for removing or replacing that merchant-managed link. KERSIVO does not claim to edit Google automatically.

Your Stripe account remains yours and KERSIVO does not close it merely because you leave KERSIVO. Historical payment, refund and connected-account identifiers may be retained where needed for reconciliation, accounting, legal obligations or disputes. How we handle personal data (including your clients’ data) is described in our Privacy Policy.

QR Kit

One initial physical KERSIVO QR Kit may be requested for an eligible verified UK physical location using KERSIVO Starter or Full KERSIVO. Only one kit is available per location in total; moving between plans does not create a further entitlement. The kit is subject to shop-detail verification before print, has no cash alternative, and dispatch or delivery timing is not guaranteed unless KERSIVO expressly states otherwise in writing. Replacement or reorder kits may be subject to a separate policy or charge.

The kit uses KERSIVO-controlled dynamic QR identifiers. Those physical QR codes may continue to exist across plan changes, but their booking destination is resolved according to the shop’s current KERSIVO service state. Leaving KERSIVO stops those QR codes from leading to an active new-booking flow.

Google Business Profile booking link

KERSIVO provides guided setup and the current booking URL that the Client may add to its Google Business Profile. This is a merchant-managed link: the Client remains responsible for adding, updating or removing it in Google. Google controls profile eligibility, display and placement of booking actions, and KERSIVO does not guarantee that Google will show a particular Book button or placement.

Data Processing Agreement

When KERSIVO processes Customer Personal Data on the Client’s behalf, the Data Processing Agreement at /dpa forms part of these Terms and governs that processing. For that Customer Personal Data, the Client is the Controller and Bartosz Jasinski, trading as KERSIVO, is the Processor.

KERSIVO may separately act as an independent Controller for its own business, account, billing, security, support, legal, tax, marketing and operational processing, as described in the Privacy Policy. That independent-controller processing is outside the DPA.

Your content and intellectual property

You retain ownership of your branding, text, images, and other materials you supply. You grant us a licence to host, display, and use them solely to deliver the project and run the service for you.

KERSIVO owns the source code, platform, admin software, retail software and infrastructure. Your active KERSIVO service level gives you a licence to use the applicable platform features while that service is active; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying software to you.

Acceptable use

You will not use the service for unlawful activity, to infringe others’ rights, or to transmit malware. You are responsible for the accuracy of opening hours, services, and product information shown to the public.

Availability and support

We aim to keep the service reasonably available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Our target is to provide an initial response to subscribed clients within one business day. This is a response target, not a guaranteed resolution time. Standard support does not include 24/7 telephone support unless separately agreed in writing.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of data, except where such exclusion is not allowed by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Services in any twelve-month period will not exceed the greater of (a) £1,000 or (b) the total fees paid by the Client to KERSIVO for the Services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Stripe processing fees paid to Stripe and any compensation paid by Stripe to KERSIVO are not fees paid by the Client to KERSIVO for this purpose. This cap does not apply to death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control (for example outages of major cloud providers, strikes, or natural disasters).

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms that cannot be resolved by negotiation will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page and change the “Last updated” date. For active clients, material changes may also be communicated by email or through the admin where appropriate.
